This is a very nice little radio for the money. It has excellent reception over LW, MW, Shortwave and Ham bands. It has Upper and Lower sideband reception as well as synchronous upper and lower reception. This radio has the CB band, which also has the CB channel number as well as the frequency, which makes it easier to go to your favorite CB channel. You can also continuously scan all the CB channels, which is a nice feature. It also has excellent FM reception and the built in speaker sounds great, much, much better than I was expecting. You can scan the entire FM band and automatically load the found stations into memory and that is also a nice and handy feature. The radio can also decode CW, FT8, RTTY, PSK and HELL transmissions which is fun. The radio's casing is made of aluminum and feels very sold in my hand. The radio by itself weighs 511 grams. The screen is fully interactive, you can access any feature on the radio through the screen with the included stylus, or you can use your finger. The radio also comes with some nice accessories. You get a telescopic antenna which is 40 inches (1 meter), Two donut antennas, one for the MW band and one for the SW band. They do add to reception, but I mostly use the telescopic antenna, especially for SW. The radio also comes with a very nice little stand. The stand is very well made and much better quality than I was expecting. I can actually set the radio up on a lap desk and listen to the radio from my arm chair. You can connect the radio to the internet through your wifi with the included wifi antenna or connect the radio to you computer with the usb c connector, which is also used to charge the battery in the radio. If there was anything that I would complain about it would be the battery size. I think they should have put a higher mAh battery in it., like a 5000 mAh. I have to charge the 3000 mAh battery fairly often. Overall: a great radio for the money. I love it. Highly recommended.

I like the ATS25-XF much better than the ATS Decoder Mega that I sent back. The sound is more pleasant, and the reception is constant and does not drop unexpectedly like with the Mega. Decoding is also a bit easier, and the reception is noticeably better due to the triple frequency filter. The better shielded housing is also an improvement over the Mega. To be able to read the small print better, I hang a magnifying lamp about 15cm in front of the display (5x magnification). The shipping took 3 weeks to Germany. There were no disruptions.
