I have the red LED version which operates from 2.5 volts to 30 volts. It's very bright and readable, but dimmer (still very readable) from 2.5 volts to about 4 volts. I tested it up to 16 volts and it was quite accurate. There's a potentiometer on the back side for adjusting the accuracy, but it was already on the mark. Here are my test results compared to my two digit meters: 2.50 read 2.515 on my meters 5.01 read 5.05 on my meters 9.00 read 9.05 on my meters 12.0 read 12.05 on my meters 16.1 read 16.22 on my meters
