This buck converter adjusts the current and the voltage. I did not test it to the 300W limit, which is only available at the higher voltages. My application requires high reliability in extreme heat. I need it to provide13.9Vdc at about 1.5A from a 17.8Vdc source and at this voltage, the output power of this converter is limited to about 19 W, which is close enough for the very hot environment where I will use it.
