Although these little Sonoff wifi devices are a bit limited in application due to the fact that you have to hardwire the load to it, it does have some useful application such as.... a fireplace control. Since my fireplace switch was placed in the most inconvenient place I found that the Sonoff RF devices are perfect for this. I wired a relay as the load or output on the Sonoff since the fireplace needs a dry contact. It works great. Now I can control it from my cell or the push button transmitter. Which by the way are too big. Sonoff needs to design a bit smaller transmitter button. Another positive is that the price is right on these Sonoff devices.
