This product is very difficult to apply on a mirror fitted to your car, I took extreme caution and and cut to just a little larger than the mirror because the mirror housing gets in the way, I applied as instructed and did a final trim before removing the top cover and found pockets of air which were not visible before removing the top cover. I think the only way you could apply this coating is if you removed the mirror glass and used a workbench.
