I seems to work ok so far. Not tried to link it to anything yet, but i sounds alarm and it has a big test-button on top that blinks green when you test it (plus sound of course). Maybe not too sensitiv, but I made it go of with actual smoke from a couple of matches after some 3-4 tries. It should be fine I think.
