These work well. The tension is nice. Not really too adjustable, because most of the tension is set by the friction of the pin drivers and the body, but the tension is good anyway. The practice lock is actually harder in some respects than a real lock, so that's a plus to me. The downside? The buildup of the pin driver near the end isn't great, so it slips off the practice lock easily. Maybe that's intentional, so that it won't break a pin, but it makes use of the practice lock difficult to impossible. I may fix myself with epoxy or something.
