For the price of the item and getting the controller along with a remote make this item worth buying. it doesn't come with a plug in but if your like me and save old plugs from electronics you've had in the past then you most likely have one laying around somewhere. color is real bright and you can set different modes and speeds to match what you prefer. great for using anywhere. I bought them for a drone im building sense their waterproof but im thinking about buying one more for my room. A+++
