When I ordered this it stated it had an EU plug but it comes with an adapter to change it to what you want it to be the required adaptor should have been a EU female to uk male adaptor what they sent was a EU male to a uk female so if you plugged in the soldering iron to the adaptor you still had a EU male which is the same as the soldering iron to start with so it would not be any use to anyone no matter where on earth you were I will just have to cut off the plug and put the correct one on or get a female to uk male adapte. As yet I have not used the iron but it looks ok I will add to this review once I make the adjustment required.
