It also has anti skid rubber strips at the bottom, so you can just lay it on the desk. Charging port is micro USB, a cable is provided in the package. It has 3 color temperature settings, and by long pressing the same button you can also adjust brightness. Not tested for how long it can work on battery alone, I just keep it plugged in at all times.
