This multi-meter is extremely precise. Measuring DC from 100mV up to 40V it is within two (of it's) least significant digits from a lab-grade calibrated (8 digit) desktop multi-meter. This is well above the specifications. Resistance measurements (just a few spot checks) are also within specs. I have not verified current, capacitance, temperature or any of the others. Other nice features: 9999 counts, true RMS, NCV (non-contact voltage) "measurement" - which makes it a good wire finder - works just fine for wires about 10cm inside a wall. The probes are mediocre - the insulation is not silicone, the resistance is fairly high, the wires are fairly short. The second set of probes with the threaded ends may be useful from time to time, but their quality is not better. However considering the price this i not a surprise and I am in fact glad that as much budget went into making the instrument good! The fuses are of a rare type - they are tiny. One of the fuse mounts is soldered at an angle (see the pictures). The case is well made and even though it is "cheap" the quality is good. The 100MOhm range is a nice touch! Overall very good for the price.
