The Astrolux S43 is a great Every Day Carry (EDC) flashlight. It uses Narsil 1.3 for its user interface, which is my favorite. The light output ramps up and down (brighter and softer) seamlessly instead of through big jumps as most flashlights do. The 4 LEDs work together to throw an excellent beam pattern that is bright without a defined hotspot. If you don't like the glass breaker that comes with it, just don't use it. Overall this is a great flashlight.
