Glad my battery dead at home so I have access to a sew to cut the clamp tip to narrow to fit my prius positive plug access point off the fuse panel box. I tried for 30 minutes to clamp to the positive in everyway I can but failed. I can't believe it won't work if you don't have contact on both ends of the clamp. I took a chance and cut off a bit the plastic covering of the clamp (it was solid plastic and I was worry i was going to cut to the metal piece). a fully clamp on the nut off the positive end, it worked like a charm within seconds. It worth the price I paid if I don't have worry for 30 minutes thinking it won't work.
