This is not the brightest flashlight I own but the only one brighter is a HID light that is fragile, large and the battery doesn't last that long. This light seems to be nearly as bright, is pocketable (it fits, maybe not quite an edc...), it is much lighter and has an incredible interface. It also has a huge user group on BLF with a very active mod group. In my opinion, this is the best light available for price, brightness and size. Be sure to use Samsung 30Qs in it -- they'll give the best compromise between brightness and runtime.
