LUA Firmware is preinstalled. I recommend, that you follow the instructions at wemos.cc for setup / installation. If Arduino IDE does report, that your board is unknown - the boards.txt in the hardware section of your Arduino IDE needs to be updated. To complex for me thus on github it wasn’t available - I deleted my Arduino IDE completely - and followed the wemos.cc instructions on webpage. Then it worked like charm. Connection speed : with original LUA Firmware installed - connect with ESPplorer - at 9600 bps. with Arduino IDE connect at 230400 bps. Power Consumption is about 100 mA from USB-Port.
