The quality of the kit is very high, with accurately cut parts and well designed structure. All the parts referred to in the instructions are included (in fact a couple left over eg two surplus wheel spokes). However: It is very intricate and hence time consuming to build. Probably not recommended as a first model aircraft build project. Bending the balsa around the fuselage is difficult and much of the time there is no convenient way of clamping the pieces. Also, some of the cross members are extremely fragile (see first photo) and very easily broken. They can be glued together again though. The instructions are pretty good, but the build still requires careful planning eg don't fit the cowl until the motor is installed, as the motor mount offsets the motor to the right and the cowl has to match that angle. Also, the spinner and cowl come as one piece and the instructions don't give any guidance on how to separate them. On the issue of the spinner, I bought a 2216 motor, but it is way too long and there is a big gap between the spinner and cowl. With a 2212 and a small prop adaptor, the gap is still there, but much smaller. A photo of the finished model is included. I haven't flown it yet as I'm waiting for perfect weather for a maiden flight. I'm very pleased with how it looks. It might end up as a non flying display model.
