Durability of these planes is just awesome. During my maiden flight without studying any instructions, I stupidly crashed into a tree in a park. The plane's nose suffered badly and was left with scrapes, thorns etc and the propeller was lost in the woods. I thought thats the end of my Eeene Meene Mustang story :( I went home disappointed and depressed. But no, wait that was not the end. I read all the instructions carefully, watched a couple of Youtube videos. I used other propeller that came as an extra spare with this plane. I laminated the whole plane with good quality cello tape, also reinforced the bottom with high quality insulation tape to handle the hard landings. This time, I went to a big open grass field to try . Viola... it flew like charm : ) Very impressed with the durabilty and even though I laminated the whole plane it did not affect its dynamics, I don't think it is a great idea to laminate such small planes 1. It increases weight 2. It will affect dynamics and CG which may inturn affect maneuvers (rolls, loops etc). PROS: - Extremely durable to crashes - Good flying time ( atleast 15-20mins if you can glide longer with less throttle) - Good quality radio control and overall material used CONS: I noticed only 2 issues so far, - The propeller comes out easily even when slow crashes I know its a protective mechanism for motor but the motor mount and lock can be further re-designed to remediate this issue. - The landing gear screw width/diameter needs to be increased so that it holds to the plastic plate properly, when I tried to take-off with landing gear, one of the wheels came out because screw was not holding up properly gear
