This Eachine VR004 FPV Goggles is designed to view real-time video feedback from 5.8 GHz analog transmitters. It is an alternative to expensive immersion goggles. The mask is based on a 4.3 inch autonomous screen with a definition of 800 x 480 pixels, very bright ensures Eachine. Because this screen is equipped with a 5.8 GHz Diversity analog video receiver compatible with 40 frequencies and a 1200 mAh 1S battery that ensures an autonomy of more than 2 hours. Charging is ensured by a microUSB connector. It is therefore possible to use this screen separately to display the video feedback without isolating oneself in the mask, for example to make adjustments. The screen also offers a video sequence recorder, a DVR stored on a microSD memory card (not supplied). The screen is recessed on the back of the FPV Goggles. The image is magnified by a Fresnel lens. It is quite imposing since it measures 15.5 x 15.2 x 9.6 cm without the antennas, for a weight of 350 grams. The image and frequency settings are accessible directly on the screen, with a button for automatic search. The Eachine VR004 FPV Goggles comes with two RP-SMA format dipole antennas, a cable for charging from a USB connector, a cable for charging from a 2S to 6S battery with an XT60 connector, and a video cable – the data sheet does not indicate whether the AV jack allows you to view an external source, broadcast the screen image to an external device, or both.

I am suprized with the quality of the glasses, they have diverse antennas, dvr, and compared to my old ones ev800 they give off better color, I tested them on the field, they give 10% worse performance than ev800, but for price of 31€ thats gem.

You can remove the monitor and use it. It is so compact that I carry it for adjustment.

I was very happy with both the product and the packaging it arrived with bent corners on the Box but no damage inside The FPV monitor is as exactly as described and works well with my little radio camera I purchase separately

Cast delivery to Lithuania. Very nice goggles for the price. Good resolution, ability to use AV in, quite usable recorder. If it would have real diversity - would be the best goggles :) Anyway, you will not find anything like these for the same price!

The package arrived without damage, within the designated time frame. Works very cool as an extra display, goggles quite light but do not match my face due to too flat design, you can see a lot of light on the sides. As an extra display are ok as goggles it's not really.

I wanted to try FPV and not break the bank in case I didn't like it. This is a good budget friendly option if you can get it on sale. For the price, it is packed with functions. There is a built in DVR which does the job. The strap feels very premium and it's not uncomfortable once I dialed in the straps. As broad as my face and forehead is, there is still some light leak in the top corners. The weight is also acceptable for 5-15 minute flights. When paired with a Mobula 6, I did have poor reception outside, so like most budget goggles, you'll probably want to upgrade the antennas. There is an AV input which is a bonus and I was able to play an old Nintendo Wii on it with the supplied cable. I do have two major gripes with these goggles. Although it records 4:3 640/480 and 16:9 wide screen HD, it doesn't have an option to change the display ratio. I don't understand why the developers would do this and it's a major headache if your drone/whoop is 4:3 format. This is such an easy thing to have in the firmware and hopefully there will be a firmware update that includes this function. My second big gripe is the battery, which lasts nowhere near the claimed time. The battery display up in the top corner is all over the place, moving up and down at random, making it hard to know how much capacity is left. All in all this is a good budget entry goggle if you can get it on sale and also want something to bench test/mount to radio. At full price, I would recommend choosing something else like 800D or DM.

It was supposed to arrive on December 20th, but it arrived on December 11th. I haven't confirmed it because I don't have a drone yet, but I have confirmed that it can be charged, the power is turned on, and the screen is displayed.
