First off one of the magnets arrived broken, better packaging may have helped. That aside, the magnets are a perfect fit. I just used some super glue to attach them. They are strong enough to support the light with an 18650 battery installed but a bump to the light or what ever metal it’s stuck to will cause it to fall. This mod will work better while using the 18350 battery and tube due to the shorter length and less weight. I still recommend adding a magnet, it adds more functionality to the light without any real drawbacks, from what I can see.
