XM+ doesn’t need much of a review, this is an excellent receiver for FRSky transmitters lightweight and small for micro builds if you are comparing to rxsr, the XM+ is easier to set up so I always use the xm+, it does the job and is reliable if you are comparing to an XM, don’t bother with the XM, the range is really poor, I have had failsafe at maybe 100m without obstructions, the XM is not really any better than a built in RX on a whoop board.
