Actual power is 0.6 amps , about 7.5w on a car battery. They are nearly as bright as a 50w normal bulb. The size might not fit your holder , I had to modify mine with a dremel to get them in , The bulbs are 18mm wide and 50mm deep to the retaining collar. Would be good for show spotlights where a wide spread of light and low power consumption are needed , they didn't work so well on my fog lights as I needed a narrower beam.
