New version comes with full ball bearings, which was not the case of my previous one (that I suspect to have broken gears due to play in bushings). So this is a very good improvement. What was not improved is the grease that is very sticky and makes the transmissian hard to hand spin. I removed most of it and replaced by new lithium grease of mine. Overall a good transmission, even if the bevel gears makes it less durable.
