Balance function is very slow but after several hours it eventually balanced the cells on a 8000mAh 7S pack from 40mV difference down to 2mV. Unfortunately, the USB charging outlet refuses to output anything with a 8S battery pack unless the pack voltage is below 30.50V (3.81V per cell!) The micro USB allows connection to a PC but I haven't found any information on how to update the firmware. I was hoping it might work with LogView software for monitoring the balance function, but the detected SMART device is not available to select within LogView. Would have given it 5 stars if USB charging had worked with my 8S LiHV LiPo pack.
