It is hard to judge with a photo about an article, particularly with a fountain pen. It was a very pleasantly surprise how good and smooth it works and writes and doesn't need to to be "trained" to write on a particular hand. All my other fountain pens needed to be used for a while to "learn" my way of holding; this one didn't!

The quality of this pen is just amazing. The weight of the pen is more than I was expecting. In fact, the pen itself is more than what I expected. Beautiful.
