My Professional HD 12MP 1080p 30fps HD Sensor Trinocular C-mount Digital Video USB Industrial Soldering Microscope Camera arrived a few weeks ago and I was so excited and rushed to plug it into my laptop. I hadn't loaded any software but its a USB camera so should show up in many applications. No the output was black just like the robust metal housing. I was really looking forward to the high quality full resolution of 3840 x 2880 pixels but the camera didn't work, the output was totally black. I tried it on Mac,PC, android and linux and still no video output. I'm an engineer and tried everything but by now my diagnosis was that the camera is kaput, knackered, it is broken. Did I mention the output was black? Undaunted I downloaded the Hayear software and ran it on PC and all the controls seem to do something, for example I was able to change the resolution. Thing is I couldn't see the effect that the changes made because, you've guessed it, the output from the camera was just black. BLACK,BLACK,BLACK. I complained to Banggood who said they'd diagnose the machine for me. How could they do this when I have the camera in my possession? Then I was promised a replacement which has never been sent. After several very unhelpful emails from Banggood, I still have a Professional Camera that works as good as a house brick. Its duff, defective, faulty, utterly useless. I paid £140 for a lump of black metal that outputs black video and Banggood are doing nothing about, now that's what I call customer service. Banggood has flooded the market with these defective cameras and I would urge everyone NOT to waste their money on these useless devices. I would also urge Banggood to test all devices before sending them out to customers and to believe customers who complain of non-working goods. I have already spent far too much time trying to resolve this issue, sos from now on I will not buy anything else from them.
