Better than I expected. I got this to upgrade from an earlier smaller UV light I use to charge fishing lures and jigs. The output is very good, also allowing me to see from some distance any animal sign. Very good value for money I think. Needs 6 AAA batteries, but given the short periods of time this light gets used I expect the batteries to last a very long time in use, probably years if my last smaller one is any guide. Highly recommended.
