it seems that the range of the device is not too far... I'm wearing the phone in the left pocket of the trousers and the earphone in the right ear and that's not a good connection (sound on/off)... ... but maybe it's just my phone... I'll try with a different phone btw: why is it only made for the right ear? I ordered 2 pieces and got 2 for the right ear. Sadly I don't have 2 right ears ;-)))))

Works well BUT the LED light is so tiny, you REALLY have to get it at the right angle to see it. This is not a problem, one you get the angle to see it, you are good to go. The best way to find this angle is when you first charge it, look for the red charging light, you will then know how to look at it for other functions (i.e. Bluetooth Pairing)
