I was excited to receive this tool. When it arrived, I did put it through a series of measurement tests, and it performed quite well. From the UI point of view, it is well laid out and easy to use. I don't like the fact that the horizontal position of the trace can't be adjusted and that the buttons don't allow auto-repeat (i.e. when adjusting the trigger level, one needs to press the up/down button each time to make the change). But my biggest issue (and this has also been brought up by several reviewers), is that this device consumes a LOT of current. I went ahead and did the measurements and found that in non-scope mode it draws ~170mA and when using the scope, it draws ~230mA ! This is definitely unacceptable for a portable device like this, as my 3 AA cells died after 20-30 minutes of use. The tool's developers must do a FW update to improve the performance in this regard. And b/c of this last point, I can't give it 5 stars. Sorry...
