This is the second camera of this model I have ordered. The First one I had purchased six months ago and installed it outside KNOWING it was not designed as an outdoor camera. The camera has endured 100+F temps to 15F degrees, heavy moisture levels and rain as well. Have it mounted deep under eve at corner of house and still works perfectly (at my surprise) considering the inexpensive cost.. There is an FPS loss past a certain point which can really only be determined by trial and error. Both cameras provide 25 to 35 FPS at 30 yards considering this is a single story brick house. Really pleased by the ease of installation. Use cat5 to router, set parameters, unplug and mount. Love this camera. Great IR night vision and quick response PTZ. Motion alarm will need to to be adjusted to your environment.. TESTED this unit outdoors for six months before I bought the second one. Very pleased
