The front shock tower is a perfect fit. If you are purchasing this set for the front shock tower only, you will be satisfied. The machining is good, with the pre-threading matching the screws perfectly. However, the rear shock tower, as one other reviewer mentioned, will NOT fit onto the Wltoys 144001 as a direct replacement. The rear suspension geometry on the 144001 is set up such that the stock rear shock tower has a pre-set, designed, bend in it of about 5-10 degrees or so. The rear shock tower in this aluminum set has no such bend. It is possible to force the rear shock tower into place, but this causes significant stress on the shocks, as the "bend" has to happen somewhere; something has to give. In my view, the "give" will be that the O-rings in the shocks will very quickly wear down and cause repeated shock leakage. There is NO easy fix, that I can see, to this problem, unless you have a way to bend aluminum with precision. The rear A-arms are set up at an angle, and the shock tower has to be perpendicular to that angle where the shocks attach to it, if that makes sense. Hopefully this review will save someone some time or frustration.
