Works like a charm! Mi Home doesn't show any data when the phone is not connected to the sensor, but I believe it can be fixed by using Xiaomi hub. Can't connect Mi Home to Google Home, it simply says Linked and doesn't appear in linked services in the app. Hopefully will be fixed some time.

compared to another brand of temperature, humidity sensor this device compares very well. looking forward to attempting to integrate these devices into my home automation system. Even without instructions it's easy to open the back to remove the insulator from the battery and my phone found the BLE MAC address. So just need to flash the new firmware and get logging. Might even put one in the green house.
