Jo9t64 no it is AC in 240v and AC ( simulated and chopped up ) out 0 to 240v.

Jo9t64 I have found this works well as long as you have a small load to control . i put a 15w 240v lamp allways in paralell. with load.

Jo9t64 No it cannot . it will only regulate voltage about 10volt to 260v. with 230 to 240 input . Must have a load .

Q: can l use a 240volt 900 watt angle grinder?

Jo9t64 yes you can . what is your input voltage if grinder is 240v you dont need this just plug straight in This unit is deigned for running appiances with a lower voltage .

Jo9t64 i brought this item and thinking i was getting everything in picture but only got the gauge. the price was ok and i do use it. but please what you see is NOT what you get
