Q: Could it take a 3s 450mah or just strictly 3s 300mah.

stylesuxx It does take 450mAh batteries, but flight time is the same as with 300mAh and it feels heavier. I would recommend to go with 300mAh or 350mAh tops.

stylesuxx D8 only comes in one flavor - there are no separate LBT | FCC versions.
