killertoffy This is normal, it's called a v-groove or v-cut. Multiple boards are made on a larger panel and can be separated by hand. The edge is never clean, but can be sanded or trimmed with a knife easily. This is very common, but just paying people to hand clean the edge is expensive, so they all skip it to reduce cost. Fix it yourself ;-)
