There is no documentation as to how to use this product whatsoever. The website is not helpful as not all of it is in English. The one folded piece of paper which comes with the product specifies a website for updates yet none are to be found. I feel the manufacturer used his efforts toward the product but spent nothing on documentation! Sad, but a big disappointment. Had to evaluate a product without documentation.

tholl You probably have to upload the latest version of the clock software. Look on the web for instructions on where to obtain the latest HEX file

Received in good condition and in a timely manner. Haven't tried anything with this kit yet but have built a similar one in the past. I would recommend omitting the speaker as the music becomes annoying after a short period of time.

I would recommend omitting the speaker as the music becomes annoying after a short period of time. Do not install the jumper. There was an earlier design which came with an SD card reader to play Christmas music on. That was a preferred version of this product.

Kit received and I have built these in the past. A small 5cm cooling fan would be a nice inclusion as the unit gets hot.

I love this kit and highly recommend it! It goes together easily and appears to be pretty accurate. Banana jacks for external wires would be a nice addition to this kit.

This is an easy kit to put together and produces a pleasing effect. I would prefer a two display, three display. four display, five display, and six display version whereby multiple units are hooked up in tandem so dice games can be played which use up to 6 dice. A unit with 6 dice where the number of dice can be rolled or held during rolling would truly be a desirable kit to have and I would volunteer to be the first person to buy one.

This is a really neat clock kit, but unfortunately was very disappointing. After getting it all built only several of the features functioned correctly. The temperature sensor worked, the brightness dimming function worked and the voice function worked, but the clock function did NOT work. Also, it was NOT possible to set the year, month, or day on the unit. All in all, not happy with the outcome.

I would have given this a 5 except for the fact that the front acrylic covering the display has a smokey tint to it which cuts the display brightness too much; even at the highest brightness setting. Take great care when soldering the large chip. Avoid solder bridges and bad connections. Afterward, you will be rewarded with a nice clock. I especially like it when it reminds you at holidays.

Kit comes with no instructions but went together easily. I would probably recommend to not install the speaker as it is annoying. I drilled a hole for a keyring to mount on a tree.
