Thank you for fast shipping. This is my first tube project. Love it. Tube amps need very very clean power supply, otherwise, it will hum. I had the same issue. So, I disassembled the board and redesigned in a way that heater supply and cathode supply can be connected individually. Heater can take either AC or DC (6.3v 500m amp each tube OR 12v in series-for two tubes). Removed all voltage boost components (transistors and related filtering caps). Also replaced the components with audio-grade resistors and Jantzen cross caps (1uf, input and output). Heater coil is powered by a 12vDC supply Remaining supply is provided from two 12v batteries connected in series (it makes 24v). The ground connections are re-arranged to reduce humming. Now it works like a charm. Can feel a large improvement in performance Thank you
