shocktek Haveyou tried a long press on the volume button? That should switch the device or or off. I also found the issue with volume control - the volume steps (it is a digital volume knob encoder, not a potentiometer) are too large and the lowest volume step before zero can be too high for quiet listening.

Q: What is the DAC chip and it's bitrate? 48khz? 96khz? 24bit?

Asked by skypartan on 2021-02-22 07:20:00

shocktek Looking at the pics the Bluetooth device on the board is a JL AS19AP24256 - I could not find any data sheet for this mystery device but I expect it has an onboard DAC and the bitrate and depth will be set by the codec of whatever audio device feeding the module via bluetooth. Probably going to be 16 bit and 44.1 or 48 kHz typically... (If you mean using it as a a USB wired sound output device e.g. with a pc, unfortunately I don't know what the sample rate or bit depth options would be, I have not tried this)

shocktek This module uses a TPA3116D2 amplifier module which delivers a maximum of 2 × 30 W Into 8 Ohm speakers - so if your speakers are rated at 100W they should be fine. I believe you want something close to a 24V dc power supply with at least 3A rated max current if you plan on running it near to rated power.
