Q: Can I buy this light with an SFT40 in 5000k?

Asked by BG474045181 on 2023-02-19 12:04:32

csiluk Not at this moment. Currently, the SFT40 is only available in 6500K. However, I do have a few lights using the SFT40 and it is much better than either SST40.

csiluk Look for a light using an SST20 led with a 4000K color temperature. It can a single emitter or multiple emitters.

Q: what is the size of the battery use for this flashlight?

Asked by BG444016354 on 2021-01-10 05:44:37

csiluk A very high quality, unprotected, flat top or button top, 26650 such as the black Shockli 5500mAh 20A-30A. Using a protected cell may not allow the light to operate at full power. And using "bargain" batteries will do the same. Do your research on batteries because there are a lot of false claims printed on batteries. If your going to buy cheap batteries, don't even bother to purchase the light.

Q: What is the CRI?

Asked by BG213939933 on 2020-11-27 01:32:53

csiluk It stands for "color rendering index". The higher the number, the more accurate the colors appear. The scale goes to 100 and most decent quality lights average between 70-80.

Q: is this include battery?

csiluk No. Battery must be purchased separately. You will also need a li-ion charger to charge the battery.

csiluk I'm 99% sure that the SST40 is a 3v led. Using 2 18650 cells in series would be too high a voltage. So no, I would highly recommend NOT using the extension tube. It's an amazing light just the way it is! But if you get one and try it, let us know what happens. Better order 2 if you plan on trying it!

csiluk The M3 has low voltage protection built in. I highly recommend a high quality unprotected cell as the protection circuit in a protected cell may not allow it to run in the 100% mode for very long or possibly not at all.
