FPVoutlaw Unfortunately it does not have a brake. But you can Definetly stop or slow yourself with the reverse. But will not hold itself on an incline.

Q: Where can I buy extra HV batteries for this quad? I cannot find them anywhere..

FPVoutlaw you can use the right mah 1s HV battery with any connector. just add the proper connector to the quad. example: https://fpvoutlaw.wordpress.com/2018/02/23/air-hogs-dr1-fpv-drone-simple-battery-mod/ check google for HV 🔋

FPVoutlaw you can use any battery connector you want as long as its rated for a 1s battery. you're not restricted to the connector on the unit

FPVoutlaw probably due to the polarity reversed. a mess up in production. it is common. and yet people get upset and don't think. I'd desolder the wires after visually inspecting the flight controller to see if the wires are soldered to the correct pads. it should be blatantly obvious due to the pads being labelled +/- if reversed, just switch them. if you care to switch to a more common connection I would. switch to whatever batteries you use mostly.

FPVoutlaw General speed of the car is about 15-18mph. I've achieved 25mph via modifying the motor and the amount of voltage it gets.
