Not sure if I received a faulty smart watch. I am not using a sim in mine, I have it connected through blue tooth and wifi, I can not make phone calls through the watch and I can not check notification, it does tell me when I have notification but does not say what they are. I had a cheap $26 smart watch before this one and it worked fine. I could make and take phone calls and read notification. Also when I charge my phone the watch vibrates every few seconds until I turn the blue tooth off. So is my watch faulty or am I doing something wrong. I don't know

Q: can you make call when connected to your phone without a sim through the watch

DeepRules No. This is not possible in android 7.0. All you need is sim card in the watch itself.
