While the DMM functions are good, the Oscilloscope function is very disappointing. The time base only has 94 pixel resolution resulting in a very pixelated display in contrast to the smooth lines as advertised in the animation. The time base is adjustable but there is no indication of the selected time scale, making any time based measurements impossible. While a digital voltage is displayed, there is no indication of scale on the analogue display. Frequency is displayed (max resolution 1Hz) but doesn't help signal analysis particularly at low frequencies or non repetitive signals. As an oscilloscope, lack of scales on both the horizontal and vertical axes means it is next to useless. As a basic DMM, cheaper options are available.

Q: Does this open or close the circuit on rising temperature. I need it to open on rising temperature. And can it be used both ways if you want it to open on falling temperature.

Oli Opening or Closing is selectable. Press Set until P0 is displayed. Short press Set to display operating mode - Heating (contact closes on falling temperature) or Cooling (Contact closes on rising temperature). Press +/- to toggle between H and C. Press Set to save.

Q: Can the relay of this unit be inverted, for example, can the unit be configured so that the relay is on/connected when the measured temperature is over the set point (want to use to trigger a cooling fan when an over-temperature condition is reached)?

Oli Press and Hold Set for 3s, until P0 is displayed. Press + to display P1 Press Set to display Hysteresis setting Adjust to desired value with + and - Press Set (or wait for timeout) to save new setting

I already bought a 9V to 24V unit and was very happy with it. I required a 3V power supply so I ordered the 3V to 12V model. Unfortunately, the minimum output is approximately 4V and so I cannot use the unit for its intended purpose. The maximum output (12.3V) is reached at when the setting is only mid scale, making fine voltage adjustment difficult. (4V to 12.3V in approx 100Deg rotation of setting knob) When delivering 1.5A at 12V, the unit has approx. 300mv ripple at 60kHz. reasonable performance for such a unit
