Good quality for the price. The display has vivid colors and the battery life is approximately a week with 3 to 5 40 min running sessions a week. The downside is that gps is not very accurate, takes sometime to lock position, and heart monitor does mistakes sometimes and needs restart to fix it. For 100 euro it's OK, but not more than that.

Q: can the external unit be connected to the power line and work without batteries?

Jonathan I have just tried it with a 12v AC bell transformer and it works fine
