Q: The G600 clams to be 600X and the G700 a 1000X magnification microscope. Does anybody have both, and would it be worth it to upgrade to the G700.

RobBarron No, it’s only a digital upgrade, the same picture is just increased more - making it more pixelated. This is a decent tool for a hobbyist wanting about 30x magnification but no more.
