I assembled the bike today. It seems solidly built. I am surprised, and pleased, to discover the front wheel is quick release. The tread on the tubeless tyres is very deep. Perfect for the tough tracks near my house. The phone mount is solid, and the USB port a real bonus. The seller's description does not indicate the maximum saddle height, which is a shame because, because although a folding bike it appears suitable for people to around 6' 6" ( 200cm) maybe more. Whilst giving the battery a first charge I rode the bike as a normal bike for a short distance. The gears function smoothly, the saddle and suspension are comfortable. From first impressions I have no reason to doubt this bike will give years of service

Q: will this battery fit Laotie folding mountain bike?

The seller Dear customers, not applicable. Because the battery size is inconsistent with the battery warehouse. The battery interface is also different.

Q: Is there a problem with pedal assist with this bike. Pedal assist won't run at a speed I wish to pedal. Once it kicks in I have to pedal faster to keep up. Changing gear makes no difference. There are 3 options a) Try to keep up with pedal assist b) just keep the pedals turning without contributing any input. c) Don't pedal (bike slows and stops unless throttle applied. Also odometer records pedal rotations not trip distance. When freewheeling speed and distance stop displaying / recording.

Q: With the battery installed how do I switch off the alarm? There is no instruction for the remote control and I cannot remove the battery even though the bike was supplied with a battery key.

Q: How do I remove the battery.My bike was supplied with a battery key. I turn it but it does not withdraw the security stud enough to release the battery. z

BG154741448 Ifthe 120 watt rating is correct then 120 watts divided by 12 volts is 10 amps per hour so 45 minutes will draw 7.5 amps. Whatever the amp hour rating of your battery you should only draw 50 percent eg. 80ah battery maximum draw 45 amps. However it might be prudent not to exceed 25 amps so you leave enough power to start your vehicle.

looks good plugged it in red light came on Instructions say 45 mins to reach 100 degrees using 12v 120W can someone answer how long it will take to flatten battery without driving🙂?
