Q: Will there be a driver available that is better UI options like 12 group on the XPL-HI version of C8+? I don't like either driver option on this one.

Excellent option for keychain being so small. I've been using it since Christmas and the batteries last a long time as I ran my for 2 days straight although its significantly less bright but still usable for finding keyholes or reading. The LED quality and optics remind me of more expensive brands I own. Just be sure to get LR44 batteries with a good expiry date, I had some LR44 I bought last year that were half dead for another device and did not last very long.

Very good, I like the LED better than the Olight version of this flashlight.

What a great concept for a flashlight and I love the UI features but there are design issues that makes this my first and last Astrolux purchase. First problem I have is the LED tint. I bought 6500k and its a really noticeable warm green tint at low to medium brightness.SST-20 is terrible. Only at close to full power does it seem white light. The UI does not allow the light to run more than 200 lumens to my eye after it ramps down. I test this at very low maybe 1000 lumen output and within 5 minutes its ramped itself down to about 200 lumens. On turbo it just ramps down faster maybe in 2 minutes. I have many flashlights and this one is one of the worst tint and dimmest automatic ramp down.

Q: Does it have low voltage protection (lvp)? Can I use it with unprotected 14500?

Jeff Can't have low voltage protection for 3.7v when its designed to work with 1.5v AA also.

Q: why does not remember the last memory of the last used mode?

Jeff It is Biscotti firmware. You must look up a video of how to set Biscotti. There are settings for memory on/off.
