Works well overall. Some 70 programmable parameters but it will function well with only the basics. The RPM counter is way off, reads almost twice as high as my tachometer shows directly on the motor but possibly is affected by a parameter I need to set differently. Mine arrived with a deep dent in the membrane that covers the readout, as if something sharp had fallen on it. It was packed well with no outside damage so it had to have happened before it was packed. The readout functions fine so it's only cosmetic. Still a terrific value overall.

Good stand alone device. Yes the resolution is less than you hope but with some experience it's easy to read what it's telling you.
