Q: Common sense tells me this is for corded [higher power] drills and a battery drill would be less capable, still work but not as good?

BG122215453 Yesand no, I have used both and depending on the job at hand both drill applications worked fine for me.

This was a replacement unit for one that didn't work, now it's a ok

hand in hand with the reciprocal saw attachment, I have lots of uses for both the saw and blades
