This must be the most value-for-money scope out there! It's got features that is way outside its price range, and it is also easy to use. You should buy a differential high voltage probe as well, so you can measure circuits without regard to ground, and also switch mode supplies etc. If you add a current probe as well, you can use it for automotive engine analysis as well as AC and DC high current analyses. It has low noise, good triggering, the FFT works great (once you learn how to use it! - the resolution is inversely bound to the horisontal sweep frequency, and the dynamic range is limited by the ADC, so for detailed measurements, a tuneable notch filter to remove the fundamental makes it great for distortion analysis). Every lab should have one!

This is a cool little thing! It's fully battery operated with white a long battery life, so with a current probe it's perfect for auto engine analysis, acoustic measurements and servicing where you don't want a mains connection. It is also a digital multimeter, and I've found it to be fast and accurate, and I was surprised that it accurately measured 0.3 Ohm resistors. I know this is pushing it, but few meters manage that, no matter what their specs. The software that comes with it is a different version than Hanteks other scopes, and I liked the old software better, but it does the job. There are also open source 'scope software out there if you look. I use it mostly as an AC millivolt meter, for measuring audio circuits, and the scope for acoustic measurements. Q: What is the Screen Resolution

BG834814820 Thepixels aren't that important. The display has high contrast, so you can easily see the waveform. I have larger scopes, but even if this screen is smaller since it's portable, I can clearly see even X-Y plots! This is truly a great instrument!

BG834814820 Thereis ONE output channel from the built-in waveform generator. The max output is enough to drive any line input. (Haven't got the instrument at hand right now). It is NOT a low impedance output for driving speakers. It is for electronic circuits and as a source for amplifiers.
