jryorkpa Would a filter obscure the "48 bright red spots" without limiting their intended purpose? puroose. Just curious

The description states that they are 940nm infrared LEDs and they are invisible. When they are powered with 12V they appear as 48 bright red spots. They do emit infrared but since it is visible and not invisible as described then it is not 940nm. I ordered 3 of these for use with cameras that would be undetectable. the red glow makes them useless.

Picking back up electronics for a hobby. Banggood makes it possible at an affordable price. Given that I am prone to suspicion, I always grab an appropriate tester or circuit to test components as they arrive. No complaints yet.
