ari33 I'd have chosen a 1200mm wingspan instead of the 120cm version but then I found out that the 1.2m version flies better than both of them... especially the red one.

Q: Is more kv good Or bad, suggest propeller for 2200 k, v

Asked by BG173653138 on 2021-11-18 02:52:03

ari33 There are a lot more variables than just that such as what plane its going on, its intended use, what lipo will be used, what your objective is.. speed or endurance. More kV gives more rpm per volt which will provide more speed but will also draw more amps. For 2200kV on 4S a 6050 prop would work.. and would require a 40A-50A Esc

Q: is it possible to run the 900kv on 8s?

Asked by BG500124675 on 2021-07-04 05:29:12

ari33 Your question is a bit like asking 'will the engine drive my vehicle on 98 Ron fuel' and we absolutely have no idea if you are putting it in a SUV or a sportscar. FFS! Its possible but that is only one parameter of many (quad prop size, AUW weight, max, lipo weight, C rating, intended use. Go copy a known tried and tested power train setup used in the same frame as yours.

ari33 Total junk because you didn't do the research to see that you need a programming card to program it? That's an unfair and not a true assessment of the ESC itself.

ari33 Yes... but if its for a plane there is a cheaper version without a compass.

Q: do they fit PCB spacers?

Asked by pcm2007 on 2021-01-21 11:57:59

ari33 Larger 30.5 x 30.5 FC's usually use M3 while the smaller ones usually use M2. So check what your FC mounting hole specs are.

Q: Can this work with 35Amp ESC well?

Asked by BG353952221 on 2021-08-08 02:57:30

ari33 Depends on the load, ie the props you choose and also to some extent the AUW of your quqd.

Q: Is it possible to use 5S batteries with the 2450Kv 4S motors?

Asked by RicBorgs on 2021-08-20 09:58:03

ari33 Cannot fit? Just Ignore Piggy above... It is intended for 4s and 5" props as a sweet spot. You might get away with it on a light lower low pitch 5" bi blade but you would have to monitor temps to ensure they dont overheat. You could also probably use it on 5s with a 4" prop so as not to draw too much current and overheat the motors. Not an optimum setup though as its really too big a motor for 4". You would be carrying a lot of motor weight as unnecessary ballast.

ari33 The shaft is reduced to 4mm below the bell but is a threaded 5mm on top... all are normally designed this way.

Q: How does hot start work?

Asked by BG011552045 on 2021-07-24 08:55:59

ari33 If it has a small battery on the board I suspect it will be used to allow the memory to store the last known coordinates to help speed up Sat count when powered on again at the same location.

ari33 Wingspan isnt massive but its probably a lot larger than you think in terms of internal space with it being a blended wing design.

Q: will it automatic landed if battery dried?

Asked by Syam Amri on 2019-02-02 12:44:38

ari33 No, It will automatically crash if battery runs out... unless you put a flight controller with inav on it you might be able to set that up.. maybe.
